Basically Just A Cradle Quote Cuz I'm Kinda Lazy This Week

Whattup Low-Golds,
Last week I got to talk a little bit with my dear friends the Grovers because they are currently traveling with my family, and Sister Grover mentioned that she 1: liked my emails and 2: appreciated that I give a relatively honest accounting, in that I am pretty upfront with saying that "it sucks" sometimes. And I'm glad that somebody thinks that because I frequently worry that I complain too much, so my goal is to try and be accurate and honest: I want to convey that this is super hard and terrible sometimes, and I also want to convey that it's definitely like the best time in my life so far.

So with that being said, this week was... a week?

A Week
I don't even really know. Had some awesome days, and had some very tiring days. Highlights of the week were going to the Temple with a recent convert, my division with an Elder named Elder Santos which was awesome, the training we had the next day when I got to see all the other Elders from the CTM, and reading the Book The Holy Covenants by Anthony Sweat. Highly, highly recommend that book if you're a Church member who'd like to learn more about the Endowment it was seriously amazing. But as for the rest of the week, a lot of old problems got solved, other problems stayed the same, new problems popping up and others resolving, basically I don't have the energy to compile all that into something both coherent and entertaining so I'm not going to lol. I should sleep more.

I promise we'll get a redemption arc of the emails at some point when I can start writing overly complicated jokes and referencing fiction for its own sake instead of as a coping mechanism. But Zuko had to fail his redemption arc like, 4 times before he figured out that his family was crazy and he actually doesn't need to 'capture the avatar to regain his honor'.
Failure is a prerequisite to true redemption.

But anyways, we're gonna slap a scripture and a Cradle quote on this bad boy and call it an email.

“Don't think,” she warned him. “It is your thoughts that are most deadly. Your fears, your pain, your despair, they are deadly poison. Do not let them rule you.”
-Fisher Gesha, Skysworn Chapter 7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7

God is good,
Elder Ebbert
