Weekly Email That I Send One Every Week

Whattup coitados, 

These past few weeks have been a blur. And by a blur, I mean I haven't taken notes so I'm not sure what to write about. Here's some highlights off the top of my head:

-we ate lunch with our stake president and his wife was hilarious, she told us we were going to hell haha
-the road cats have been getting nicer and letting me pet them
-we had a noite familiar (family home evening) with one of the cool members in our ward and she made us homemade ice-cream it was really good
-we had p night with the other elders and there were these people having a crazy party in the house beneath ours so we danced up in our apartment and ordered three pizzas and absolutely nothing else wacky or unusual happened
-we got like 20 member visits marked for this week due to some clever form stuff we passed around on sunday

Alright this email sucks but I wanted to let yall know I'm still alive and goin strong and I'm pretty sure if I go more than 3 or 4 weeks without sending an email I'll never send one again. But I'll make it up to yall, next week's transfers and I'm also cooking up a pretty banger spiritual thought. So I'll send a good email at some point. 

But yeah, hope you all have a wonderful week!

Whattup Fellowsaints, This week was awesome. I almost entirely recovered from my bout of sicknesses, and we started to see miracles at literally every turn. That's... basically it. The After-Sacrament Meeting We have this one guy who literally has been in the chapel 12 times but he hasn't been baptized yet. Why? Well, his wife is on the verge of bringing forth a child, his nephew is possessed by the devil, and also he doesn't live in our area of teaching. Not  literally  possessed by the devil by the way, though considering my experience thus far in Brasil I wouldn't put it past him. No, he just does really dumb stuff like beat and steal from his mom, which gives our friend a headache and lo-key makes him want to kill the nephew- which is lo-key fair. Whattup Spirit Junkies,  As I sit at my slightly cluttered but mostly organized desk covered in books of scripture and laser-engraved knives, tastefully decorated with a singular potted plant, I sip my coke zero out of a plastic cup and eat air-fried chicken nuggets out of a plastic bowl and realize...  That's it. I peaked.  Nourish and Strengthen Well anyways, heres what happened in the last two weeks. Two tuesdays ago, we had lunch with our favorite recent con Ana, and she invited her aunt to come and eat lunch with us. We took the opportunity to teach her some cool stuff and she also asked us to give her a blessing, which was very spiritual. Then we went back, did weekly planning, and then got caught up in a meeting with our bishop where he printed off like 400 names of people for us to visit. A little Loki for ya So this week's email is probably gonna be talking mostly about The Work. I apologize because that's probably not going to be as funny or interesting as all of my bizarre adventures in Brazil, but as my mom so keenly put it to me last week: "Lawson, writing is your coping/therapeutic/digestive mechanism!"
